“The use of the Convergence Centre for our conference was a great fit! The facilities were excellent, with smooth flow between the large classroom, atrium space, and hallway where food and drink were served. Having abundant free parking available for our attendees was a great bonus. The A/V equipment and lighting in the classroom was simple to manage and worked seamlessly. As a bonus, there was beautiful art everywhere! I would highly recommend this space.”

“The Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction occupies a suite in the NRC building across the parking lot from the Connector Suites. We occasionally use the Connector Suites for meetings and presentations. We find the Connector Suites to be versatile, easy to reserve and use, and reasonably priced. The space is well lit and easily accessible. Free parking right next to the building and the off-campus location make it easy to direct visitors to the space without hassling with parking permits and fees. The room divider means we can have smaller or larger meetings. The built-in AV options mean we rarely need our own equipment. We always find research park staff responsive and accommodating. We greatly appreciate the catering options and quality offered by the Black Walnut. We plan to continue using Connector Suites for future meetings.”

“Our Western Retiree Bookclub has been using one of the Suites in the Convergence Centre of the Western Research Park for our meetings for several months now. We all very much enjoy spending time in the facility.

The meeting room is spacious with lots of natural light, comfortable seating and ample tables. The room is decorated with beautiful artworks from local artists.

The administrative staff have been very helpful and welcoming to us. Easy access parking and the Black Walnut Cafe are additional benefits.

This facility is a wonderful spot for community groups to gather. We look forward to continuing our meetings there.”

“We were the first event at the Connector Suites and our experience was just perfect.

The team was very professional in helping us with all our needs for our trade show. They were able to ask all the right questions to make sure that all our needs were met. The room was set up well in advance so that we were able to come in and set all our equipment up and settle in before our customers arrived.

The Black Walnut is the perfect fit as well for our event. Their team was very helpful in making sure we had the right amount of food for our event and was all brought in on time to make sure our customer needs were taken care of. Not to mention, it was very tasty!!

We will be having another event this spring and for sure will be using the Connector Suites again!”

I’ve utilized this extremely accommodating venue for a variety of occasions, including celebrations honoring our esteemed colleagues at Western Technology Transfer Office and dynamic pitch competitions for our innovative programs.

We’ve opted to use The Connector Suites as our event space numerous times because of it’s convenience, excellent support staff and versatility. The adaptable event space has enabled us to customize our events meticulously, nurturing a sense of unity during employee celebrations and encouraging innovation and collaboration during our pitch competitions.
