About the Speakers
EA Clarke (Pivot + Edge) – After growing an early-stage company and selling it I joined another start up raising nearly $14M USD as a founding exec, I was responsible for building sales and marketing—with no clue where to begin. Like most startups, our first hires came from our networks, but scaling beyond that was a struggle. With 30+ years in recruitment and firsthand experience scaling my own tech ventures, I saw just how flawed traditional hiring is. That’s why we built Pivot + Edge—to fix it.
I guide leaders through hiring and help them craft and share their story. I’ve coached countless C-level execs through growth, shaping their employer brand to attract the right candidates and build high-performing teams that scale.
Rebecca Hawman (Pivot + Edge) – I started my career in B2B marketing, where I built a strong foundation in brand strategy and storytelling. I later joined Pivot + Edge to focus on helping leaders craft and amplify their stories—creating authentic employer brands that attract the right candidates to grow their teams.
I build employer brands and recruitment marketing strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent. From crafting candidate-facing content to telling leadership stories, I help companies stand out and hire better.
